Classification and Application of Molybdenum Bolt -- Semiconductor Device Materials

Dec 08, 2022

Molybdenum bolt is a semiconductor device material. It is equipped with a cylindrical threaded fastener of nut, which is processed with a high-temperature molybdenum rod and has stable physical properties at 1700 ℃. The products range from M2 (the outer diameter of the screw is 2mm) to M32 (the outer diameter of the screw is 32mm) * L (length). They are generally produced according to the requirements of the user's drawings. They can be used to make hexagonal head molybdenum bolts, countersunk head molybdenum bolts, square head molybdenum bolts, slotted molybdenum bolts, T-shaped molybdenum bolts, special-shaped molybdenum bolts, and other specifications.

It is widely used to fix high-temperature mechanical parts, sintering furnace fasteners, etc. In the civil sector, molybdenum screws are widely used in vacuum furnaces, single crystal furnaces, LED furnaces, glass ceramics, and other equipment. Molybdenum screws are produced and processed with high-temperature molybdenum rods and lathes. Producers should be familiar with the characteristics of molybdenum metal materials and use proper operation methods and tools, especially for wire picking with lathes above M12. The improper operation will lead to tooth breakage and workpiece scrapping. Molybdenum bolts can be as small as M1.6 * L. Some manufacturers have designed molybdenum bolts as special-shaped parts for convenience.
