The titanium mesh baskets consist of a titanium frame, a titanium mesh, and a hook. They are strong, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant, and feature an oxide film on their surface. Under normal electroplating conditions, this film prevents current from passing through the basket, allowing it to flow directly to the anode material within.
The titanium anode baskets serve as anode carriers, holding metal anode materials (such as nickel plates, nickel balls, and zinc granules). When current is applied, they evenly dissolve metal ions, ensuring a stable plating solution composition. Their corrosion resistance allows for long-term stable operation in strong acid and alkaline environments.
