Preparation of TA15 titanium alloy pipes by different processes

TA15 titanium alloy ingot is forged into tube billet bar by multiple fires, and then prepared by bar drilling machine addition (forging method), extrusion machine addition (extrusion method), and oblique rolling and piercing machine addition (oblique rolling method) respectively. Φ 120mm × 16mm size pipe, the specific process routes of the three processes are as follows.

Forging: 

Blanking above phase transition point + pier pulling below phase transition point + elongation below phase transition point - precision forging to finished black-skin tube blank - turning out to Φ 120mm finished pipe blank bar - blanking - Drilling and boring - internal and external surface polishing to finished pipe. The pipe specifications are Φ 120mm × 16mm.

Extrusion: 

Blanking above phase transition point + pier pull below phase transition point + elongation below phase transition point is a blank bar for black skin tube -Blanking- Outside car to Φ 213mm- Core drilling and boring -Inner and outer jackets -Heat to 900-960 ~C for thermal insulation -Extruded with a horizontal extruder to Φ 125mm × 21 mm extruded pipe -End flush -Inner Boring-The outer surface is turned into the finished pipe. The pipe specifications are Φ 120mm × 16mm.

Skew Rolling: 

Blanking above phase transition point+Pier pull-out below phase transition point+Extension below phase transition point --precision forging to a finished blank of black leather tube-Outside to Φ 123mm finished tube blank bar-blanking-Heat to 980-1050 ℃ for heat preservation-Prepared by cross rolling piercing machine Φ 125 mm × The 21mm cross rolled perforated pipe - the end is flush - the inner hole is bored - the outer surface is turned into the finished pipe. The pipe specification is Φ 120 mm × 16 mm。
