Preparation technology of platinum-coated titanium anode
At present, the common preparation methods of platinum-titanium anode are physical vapor deposition, electroplating, and sintering.
1. Physical vapor deposition:
The coating is prepared by vacuum ion plating and magnetron sputtering. The coating prepared by this method has a high bonding strength with the matrix and a controllable thickness, but it is prepared in a vacuum chamber, so it is difficult to prepare the coating for large areas and complex shape workpieces due to the limitation of equipment.

2. Electroplating:
The method uses an applied current to reduce metal ions in the electroplating solution to the platinum metal on the cathode (workpiece), including molten salt electroplating and water solution electroplating. Molten salt electroplating is rarely used because of its complex process, poor operating environment, and high cost. Aqueous solution electroplating has the drawbacks of strict electroplating process parameters and troublesome maintenance of electroplating solution. At present, it is only applied in decorative and protective coatings such as decorations, cutlery, medical appliances, scientific instruments, etc.
3. Sintering method:
The method is prepared by brushing and high-temperature sintering, which is simple in process, low in equipment requirements, which can produce large areas and complex workpieces. The coating has good adhesion and uniformity, excellent electrochemical performance, and service life, it can be used for many purposes.
