According to ASME B16.9, the stub ends may be provided in short or long designs. Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 5, Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 12, and Grade 16 titanium and its alloys are covered by titanium lap joint stub end materials, which must be produced in compliance with ASTM B363.
