3. Up to about 400 °C (750 °F), the Gr5 Titanium alloy Bar is fully heated and treatable in section sizes up to 15 mm. Because it is the most generally used alloy - more than 70% of the molten alloy grade is a subgrade of Ti6Al4V, it is used across many aerospace airframes and engines especially in the marine, offshore, and power generation industries, component uses, and major nonaviation applications.
