The strength of GR9 titanium is 20-50% higher than that of pure titanium at room temperature and high temperature. It not only has good room temperature, high-temperature mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance, but also has excellent cold and hot working process plasticity, formability, and weldability. The alloy is insensitive to notches and has good corrosion resistance, making the Ti-3Al-2.5V titanium tube the preferred material for aerospace pipeline systems.
