Titanium anodes for electrodialysis

Dec 21, 2022

Electrodialysis is a physical and chemical process in which ions are transferred from one part of water to another under the action of an external DC electric field by using the selective permeability of the ion exchange membrane. An electrodialysis desalination device is to use the electrodialysis process in multi-layer compartments to achieve the purpose of water desalination. The application of electrodialysis in wastewater treatment engineering is mainly wastewater desalination, as well as the recovery and utilization of useful substances. The COD and salt content in some biochemical wastewater are very high. When biochemical methods are used to treat this wastewater, bacteria cannot grow because of the high concentration of salt. Therefore, electrodialysis can be used to desalinate this wastewater first, and then biochemical treatment can be carried out after the salt content is reduced. Paper-making wastewater, electroplating wastewater, and other wastewater contain recoverable inorganic salts, which can be recycled by electrodialysis.

The precious metal oxide ruthenium iridium-coated titanium anodes produced by our company have plates, tubes, meshes, and other forms for users to choose from or customize according to drawings
