In terms of the production process, wire cutting MO wire can be manufactured by solid-liquid doping, the main steps are as follows: first, prepare raw materials, silicon dioxide, liquid-solid solution metal compounds, and liquid rare earth oxides; then the liquid-solid solution metal compound was added to the solid molybdenum dioxide, then the liquid rare earth oxide was added, and then the mixed molybdenum powder was obtained by hydrogen reduction; finally, the mixed molybdenum powder is subjected to isostatic pressing, sintering, rolling, rotary hammer series beating, hot drawing, annealing, and cold drawing, and the required products can be prepared.
In terms of application, wire cutting molybdenum wire is widely used as electrode material in fast wire and medium wire EDM, which can cut a variety of high hard and brittle materials.
