It is reported on Zhongguancun Online website: according to patently Apple, the U.S. patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has published a patent application from Apple called "titanium parts with anodized layer".
It should be noted that Apple's patents mention that products such as MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, and iPhone can all use Titanium Anodized components, but Patently Apple says the iPhone 14 or was the first to use titanium alloy frame designs.

Titanium is a metal with many advantages. It is easy to process and has high strength. The density of titanium alloy is about 4.51g/cubic centimeter, which is only 60% of steel. If Apple can change the stainless steel rim of the iPhone into titanium alloy, the weight will be greatly reduced. Although titanium is abundant on the earth, it is difficult to extract and therefore expensive.
