Titanium is a new type of metal. Its properties depend on the content of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. The density of Titanium alloy is generally about 4.51 g/cm3, only 60% of steel. 
Its specific strength is higher than that of most metal structural materials and parts with high strength, good rigidity and light quality can be produced. Titanium alloys are alloys based on titanium and added with other elements. They have the basic characteristics of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, high temperature and low temperature resistance. They play an extremely important role in engineering materials used in weaponry, aerospace and national defense industries and have been applied in practice.
Titanium alloy material properties have the advantage of replacing wood accessories. The thermal conductivity of titanium is 1/4 of steel, 1/13 of aluminium and 1/25 of copper. The thermal conductivity of various titanium alloys decreases by about 50% compared with that of metal titanium. The thermal conductivity of titanium alloy TC4 at 200 C is l=16.8 W/m.C. Compared with wood structure, it is more rigid and less deformable, and is not affected by temperature changes caused by stage air-conditioning, beauty-dancing equipment and lighting.Titanium alloys have better corrosion resistance than wood in wet environments and retain their properties at low and ultra-low temperatures. Therefore, the use of titanium alloy instead of wooden piano accessories can avoid the malfunctions caused by environmental impact, improve the piano efficiency, extend the life, save time and economic costs.

After replacing wood fittings with titanium alloy, the coating process can be used to avoid the impact on sound caused by the change of fitting quality. Titanium will react strongly with O2, N2, H2, CO2 and other substances in the atmosphere to form a corrosion resistant hardening layer. The mechanical and corrosion resistance of titanium alloy can be further enhanced by coating process. In addition, titanium has good chemical affinity and is easy to adhere to the friction surface, which is suitable for the uneven surface of wooden fittings. After replacing the wooden keyboard accessories or coating, it can ensure that the wooden accessories will not be affected by external forces to dry, mildew and deformation, and keep the original state of the wooden accessories. The accessory accessories can also be protected by coating to reduce the impact caused by the quality change of accessories.
Secondly, most wooden accessories require a long production cycle. The processes of drying, drying and fumigation in the production process require high environmental and technological requirements, which consume a lot of energy, space and time. After the use of titanium alloy materials or coatings, the wooden accessories can be directly added with coatings to achieve the purpose of maintaining the shape of the accessories for a long time, shorten the time for making the piano and improve the strength of the accessories.
