Calculation formula of titanium alloy material

We often encounter some problems in calculating the weight of titanium material in our work. Here are some methods to calculate the weight of titanium alloy materials such as titanium plate, bar, and wire.

1. Formula for calculating the weight of titanium plate/square bar

Formula: Length (mm) × Width (mm) × Thickness (mm) × 4.51/1000,000

Example: Titanium plate 2mm × (thick) 1000mm (wide) × 2000mm (long)

Calculation:2 × 1000 × 2000 × 4.51/1000,000=18.04kg

2. Formula for calculating the weight of titanium round pipe

Formula: (Outer Diameter - Wall Thickness) × Wall Thickness mm × 3.14 × 4.51 × Length mm/1000,000

Example: Titanium pipe 25.4mm (outer diameter) × 1mm (wall thickness) × 2000mm (length)

Calculation: (25.4-1) × 1 × 3.14 × 4.51 × 2000/1000,000=0.69kg

General calculation formula: diameter mm × Diameter (mm) × three point one four × four point five one × Length (mm / 4000000)

Example: titanium rod Φ 20mm (diameter) × 6000mm (length)

General calculation: 20 × twenty × three point one four × four point five one × 6000/4000,000=8.5kg

Formula: (4 / 3) π R ^ 3 × 4.51/1000000, R is the radius of the sphere

Example: titanium ball 50mm (diameter)

Calculation: (4 / 3) × three point one four × 25^3 × 4.51/1000,000=0.29kg
