2. Titanium anode baskets size and specifications
The thickness of titanium is 0.5-2.0mm.
The mesh sizes are 6mm×3mm, 10mm× 3mm,10mm×5mm, and wider 16×8mm, 25×15mm, etc.

3. How do the titanium anode baskets work?
The titanium basket has high strength, lightweight, corrosion resistance, and a layer of oxide film on its surface. Under normal electroplating conditions, this film can prevent the current from passing through titanium and making it directly lead to the anode material in the titanium basket.
Typically, the anode bag is used along with the titanium basket. The anode bag is generally made of acid and alkali-resistant or oxidation-resistant polyester (polyester fiber) or polypropylene (polypropylene fiber), which, in order to keep impurities like anode sludge from mixing into the tank, is sleeved outside the titanium basket. Sometimes, in order to prevent the anode mud and the coating from burring more effectively, a double-layer anode bag can be used. When using a double-layer anode bag, the inner bag should be tight and the outer bag should be loose. The anode bag shall generally have the characteristics of good corrosion resistance, good abrasion resistance, good elasticity, etc.

4. Key points of titanium baskets design
1. The conductivity of titanium is poor. Generally, the hook outside the water is not more than 0.24A/mm2, and the power on the current of the hook in the water is not more than 1.5A/mm2. Otherwise, the hook body heats up, causing the temperature of the electroplating solution to rise, the cooling capacity to increase, wasting power, and even damaging the plastic tank due to heating.
2. The titanium basket hook and the electrode generally do not use a plane or circular contact, which is easy to cause poor contact and spot corrosion of the electrode.

6. Precautions for using titanium anode baskets
1. Anode titanium blue and anode bag shall be soaked in 10% alkali solution for 6-8 hours, washed and dried, and then soaked in 5% dilute sulfuric acid.
2. When it is found that the titanium basket hook becomes significantly hot, the number of titanium baskets can be increased or the section size of the titanium basket hook can be increased to improve the conductivity of the titanium basket.
3. The titanium blue mouth should be 30-40mm higher than the liquid level to prevent the anode slag from flowing out.
4. The lower end of the titanium basket should be 100-150 mm higher than the part (it can be considered installing a shutter at the side close to the liquid level), to prevent the parts at the lower end from being too concentrated and causing scorching.
5. The anode potential on the titanium basket will rise sharply if the titanium basket is not in good contact with the anode, which will lead to oxygen evolution and chlorine evolution on the titanium basket's surface, causing damage to the titanium basket and oxidation of additives.
6. The anode bag should tightly wrap the titanium basket mouth, and a few centimeters of a gap should be left at the bottom of the bag to store possible anode sludge.
7. Clean the anode bag and titanium blue every half to one month, and replace the damaged anode bag to ensure that the plating solution and aqueduct are free of pollution
8. Supplement or replenish anode materials in time to avoid "overhead" when nickel is insufficient, otherwise, titanium will be eroded.
