Fraunhofer IFAM, Germany, takes Ti-6Al-4V alloy powder suspension as raw material, manufactures complete titanium alloy components by suspension gel casting process and sintering heat treatment, simplifies the production process of augmenting titanium alloy components, and has the advantages of low cost, simple treatment, high surface quality and suitable for low gravity conditions. It is expected to be used in the augmentation manufacturing of titanium alloy components in the aerospace field in the future.
