6. Zr crucibles use precautions and maintenance
There are many types and specifications of zirconium crucibles, and they are not limited by batch size and variety of smelting substances in the application.
Put it in a dry place after use to avoid rainwater intrusion; It must be baked slowly to 500 ℃ before use.
The material shall be added according to the capacity of the crucible and shall not be squeezed too tightly to avoid the thermal expansion of the metal and the cracking of the crucible.
When removing molten metal, scoop it out with a spoon and keep the calipers as small as possible. If calipers and other tools are used, they shall be consistent with the shape of the crucible to avoid excessive local stress and shorten its service life.
