1. Gr9 titanium sheet is a kind of α alloy with 3% and 2.5% V （Ti 3Al-2.5V）, it is also called half Gr5 alloy (Ti6al4v), its tube mainly used as titanium bike frames and titanium sheet used in the aerospace field.

5. Applications
The strength of gr9/ta18 titanium alloy is 20%-50% higher than that of pure titanium at room and high temperature, and its weldability and cold formability are better than that of gr5/tc4 alloy. The maximum operating temperature is about 315 ℃. Although the strength of this alloy is not as high as that of grade 5 alloy, it is widely used because of its excellent cold-working properties. Gr9 titanium alloy plate, strip, and foil are used in the aircraft honeycomb structure, and can also be used as other parts requiring strength, cold forming, and welding structure.
