3. The nominal composition of the Gr12 titanium sheet

Titanium molybdenum nickel alloy is Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni, which is a Ti-12 alloy researched and developed by the United States in the mid-1970s. It is a titanium alloy resistant to crevice corrosion. The tensile strength of 300 is twice that of pure titanium, the corrosion resistance of reducing media is obviously improved, and crevice corrosion does not occur in the chloride of 150-200.

4. The method used to make Gr12 titanium plate 

The final titanium plate made from the titanium molybdenum nickel alloy ingot, which has undergone forging, rolling, and surface treatment with oxide scale, serves as the raw material for Gr12 titanium plates. The titanium content is about 98.7%, 1% molybdenum nickel alloy (0.3% Mo, 0.8% Ni), and the rest are Fe, O, N, H, and other impurity elements. The cost-production process is similar to that of pure titanium, but the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are better than pure titanium.

5. Application of Ti0.3mo0.8ni Gr12 titanium plate

(Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) Gr12 titanium plate has good crevice corrosion performance to high temperature, low pH chloride, or weak reducing acid, and its corrosion resistance is significantly better than pure titanium and close to Gr7 alloy.
